Natural then and NOW

Natural is NOW. This is our theme for Natural Products Expo West 2010. NOW is the time for our industry to gather once again, and NOW is the time to do business.

Thirty years ago, the first Natural Products Expo West took place, with 200 intrepid exhibitors and more than 3,000 attendees. In 2010, we continue that tradition of gathering to do business, see friends, learn about new trends and products, and discuss the issues that affect our industry.

In that time, we have seen so many changes at Expo West. Although we have stayed in Anaheim, Calif., we have grown to encompass the entire convention center and expanded from mostly food and supplements exhibits to organic, personal care, natural living and much more. We will continue to adapt to the needs of the marketplace, such as doubling the size of the Natural Living pavilion this year.

We are further reducing our environmental impact by transitioning our Buyers’ Guide and New Products Buyers’ Guide online and enhancing our website. We will offer a simple show directory map on-site.

We have also come up with thought-provoking educational sessions that will keep you up to date on how to effectively manage your business, whether you are new to the industry or a seasoned veteran.

What else will be new this year? What hot products will you find on the show floor? Which trends will dictate what goes on your shelf? What do the next 10, 20 and 30 years hold for Expo West and our industry? You’ll just have to be there to find out.
