EPA declines to ban controversial insecticide chlorpyrifos, again

Although farmworker, consumer and environmental advocates have been lobbying the EPA to ban the insecticide known as chlorpyrifos for over a decade, the agency last Friday announced that it would not be instituting one. New York just passed the most ambitious climate target in the country
