A founder of Odwalla tries to recapture his mojo

In the late 1990s, a food safety scandal turned Odwalla from a multimillion-dollar breakout beverage business to one that was on the verge of bankruptcy and had to be sold to a private equity firm (which later sold it to Coca-Cola). Now, Greg Steltenpohl, the saxophonist-turned-beverage-entrepreneur who started Odwalla, is giving it another go as cofounder and CEO of plant-based milk company Califia Farms, which is headed for $100 million in sales this year. Court dismisses Honest Co. baby formula suit as organic group files appeal

Jessica Alba's company has been criticized for ingredients in its sunscreen, detergent and infant formula, but the Los Angeles Superior Court just dismissed a complaint filed by the nonprofit the Organic Consumers Association, which claimed that Honest's baby formula contained 11 synthetic substances not allowed in organic products. Read more at Forbes...
