Comax Mourns the Loss of Norman Katz

Comax Flavors regrets to announce the loss of one of its most valuable and respected leaders, Norman Katz, who passed away on April 1, 2010 at the age of 67.

As Vice President of Sales at Comax, Mr. Katz had a profound effect on virtually all phases of Comax's operations: serving the needs of customers, providing guidance to the sales staff and collaborating with the customer service, order and R & D departments. A graduate of Rutgers University, Mr. Katz had been with Comax for 33 years, since the company's inception. He was a member of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) for approximately 20 years.

Mr. Katz is survived by his wife and several children and grandchildren. He was born in Newark, New Jersey, raised in Hillside, and lived in Scotch Plains before moving to Chatham. He was a member of Temple B'nai Jeshurun, Short Hills, and Shackamaxon Country Club, Scotch Plains.

Norman Katz will be greatly missed by all those who knew, loved and respected him.
