Wakunaga of America, a supplements company based in Mission Viejo, Calif., opened a plant in Mira Loma, Calif.

Reserveage Organics, a resveratrol-focused supplements and personal care company in Gainesville, Fla., launched Keratin Booster Bioactive Keratin with Biotin and Resveratrol.

Boulder, Colo.-based grocery chain Sunflower Farmers Market opened stores in Salt Lake City and Roseville, Calif.

Long Beach, Calif.-based ingredient supplier BI Nutraceuticals’ headquarters earned a Safe Quality Food 2000 certificate from NSF International, an independent testing and certification organization based in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based tea manufacturer China Mist Brands’ Pure Organic Wild Blueberry Green Tea won the Platinum Award, and Pure Organic Lotus Pear Green Tea won the Bronze Award at the World Beverage Competition.

Angie and Dan Bastian, founders of Mankato, Minn.-based Angie’s Kettle Corn, performed a stove-top cooking demonstration on “The Martha Stewart Show” in January.

Washington, D.C.-based Natural Products Association promoted Cara Welch to vice president of scientific and regulatory affairs and hired Seva Raskin as membership recruitment manager.

Santa Cruz, Calif.-based Blue Horizon Wild, a frozen seafood products manufacturer, announced that Edward Cassano will act as senior vice president and director of sustainability.

Gainesville, Fla.-based supplements and personal care company Reserveage Organics hired Chris Peruzzi as national sales manager.

Mitchell, S.D.-based Performance Pet Products, a natural pet foods and treats supplier, hired Seth Kaufman (left) as vice president of business development and Nate Thomas (right) as vice president of research and development.
