Esca Bona continues its mission of creating an intimate space for a community of brands, retailers, investors, growers, influencers and change-makers to collaborate on creating a more regenerative, nourishing and accessible food system.

Beginning this year, the Esca Bona platform will expand beyond the annual fall event through powerhouse partnerships forged with nonprofit organizations equally as impassioned about changing the food system, bringing a next-generation level of collaboration to the most pressing problems in our food system.

"This is a significant step for Esca Bona and allows us to collaborate with and support nonprofit event partners that are also dedicated to creating a more regenerative, nourishing and accessible food system," said Carlotta Mast, Senior Vice President of Content and Market Leader at New Hope Network. "Esca Bona remains committed to bringing a passionate community together to solve some of the most complex problems facing the food industry, and these partner events allow us to do that in more places more often. Every touchpoint is meant to build partnerships and lead to more collaboration among attendees looking to stir up the status-quo of food."

In 2019, Esca Bona will further its mission of jointly creating solutions for a more regenerative, nourishing and accessible food system. The annual event that was held in Austin, TX, from 2015-2018 is now evolving through a programming and community presence at the following partner events:

Slow Money Northern California Food Funded

Food entrepreneurs and investors convene here for a day of educational workshops and presentations with a focus on investments in an economy based on principles of soil fertility, sense of place, care of the commons, and economic, cultural and biological diversity. Food Funded will be held June 6 at the Golden Gate Club in San Francisco.

Grow North FoodAgIdeas 

Grow North's aim is to create an interconnected, sophisticated, supportive ecosystem for Minnesota's food and agricultural entrepreneurs and innovators. FoodAgIdeas Week will be held October 10-15 in Minneapolis.

At the Epicenter Regenerative Earth Summit

At the Epicenter is committed to supporting the momentum of business to collaborate across sectors in order to address pressing challenges facing humanity. The Regenerative Earth Summit: Soil + Water + Climate will focus on the impacts of the food, fashion and beauty industries on water use, conservation and pollution. The third annual summit will be held October 28-30 in Denver.

FamilyFarmed Good Food Innovation and Finance Conference

FamilyFarmed's enduring goals are a healthier, more environmentally sustainable and more economically dynamic food system. Esca Bona will help coordinate a keynote and service project at their Good Food Innovation and Finance Conference to be held November 5-6 in Chicago.

 

Additional Esca Bona events were held in conjunction with Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA, March 5th-9th and will be highlighted at Natural Products Expo East in Baltimore September 12th-14th.
