FiE Brings Together Suppliers And Manufacturers

The 16th Food Ingredients Europe show takes place in Frankfurt this month with a thousand exhibiting companies and more than 12,000 visitors expected, according to the show?s organiser, CMP information.

A highlight of the show is a two-day conference themed around the topical area of food safety and hygiene. The conference is split into four sessions covering contaminants, microbiology and legislation.

A round-up of product launches at the Frankfurt show
ADM will launch NutriSoy—one of the eight nominated finalists for FiE?s Most Innovative Food Ingredient 2003 award—organic whole bean powder into the European market at Stand 1862.

Orafti Liquid Sweeteners will be showing its Naturesweet solutions based on certified organic ingredients, and the Raftisweet sweetening system. Stand E912-906.

A new beverage concept for weight management, Xlim, will be launched by Plantextrakt at Stand B860.

Beghin Meiji will showcase some of its 20 new products containing the prebiotic, Actilight, at Stand 1888.

Actaris will be presenting its Paectacon range of stabilisers systems at Stand A986.
