GeoPharma Appoints Nutraceutical President

LARGO, Fla., Aug 28, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- GeoPharma, Inc. (GORX) announced today that it has appointed Robert A. Herrmann, President of its nutraceutical manufacturing division Innovative Health Products, Inc. Mr. Herrmann will direct all nutraceutical manufacturing and branded product line distribution activities for Innovative's Florida facilities, including manufacturing and distribution operations, sales and marketing.

Most recently employed by Metabolife International, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of dietary weight loss products, Mr. Herrmann was Vice President of Operations and later was promoted to President and CFO of Metabolife. Prior to joining Metabolife, he was Area Vice President of Sales, Field Support and Customer Service of Tupperware Corporation headquartered in Orlando, Florida. Herrmann's career also includes executive and management positions at Noevir USA, Inc. and Avon Products, Inc.

Mr. Herrmann is an MBA-Cost Accounting graduate of the University of Missouri in Kansas City with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburg in Pittsburg, KS.; he is also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
