Hain Celestial hires two executives, restructures North American division

The Hain Celestial Group Inc. on Monday announced the appointments of Chris Boever to the role of chief customer officer and Robert Gulliver to chief human resources officer, effective today.

Both men will report directly to Mark Schiller, president and chief executive officer, who joined Hain Celestial in November. Hain Celestial, headquartered in Lake Success, New York, is a leading organic and natural products company with operations in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Its well-known brands include Celestial Seasonings, Almond Dream, Earth’s Best, MaraNatha, Rudi’s Gluten-Free Bakery and Sensible Portions.

announced that Gary Tickle, chief executive officer of Hain Celestial North America, will leave the company after a brief transition. The North American organizational structure will be streamlined and the CEO of North America role eliminated. Schiller and Boever will assume the majority of Mr. Tickle's previous responsibilities.

As chief customer officer, Boever will be responsible for driving the sales and customer agenda in the United States, as well as helping ensure Hain Celestial transforms its innovation capabilities.

Boever most recently was with Pinnacle Foods, where he served as executive vice president/chief customer officer and president of foodservice. Boever has “a demonstrated track record of executing strategic, customer-centric operational initiatives to deliver growth in sales and profitability,” according to the statement released by Hain Celestial. ConAgra Foods purchased Pinnacle Foods in October. Schiller also moved to Hain Celestial from Pinnacle Foods, where he served as executive vice president and chief commercial officer.

Gulliver brings Robert Gulliver, Hain Celestial, chief HR

25 years of human resources leadership experience from multi-billion dollar organizations, including Wells Fargo & Company, Citigroup Global Investment Management, Price Waterhouse Coopers and General Electric Capital Corporation. Mostly recently, he was the National Football League’s chief human resources officer; he was responsible for developing and ensuring world-class human resources for the league, owners and clubs, according to Hain Celestial.

Chris will be instrumental in reinvigorating our growth in the United States through his decades of experience and relationships with our customers.
