PINES International, a producer of USDA Certified Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, gluten-free wheat grass, barley grass and alfalfa, is celebrating 40 years in business. Its products are found in more than 7,000 stores in 20 countries.

New from Annie's comes a line of organic whole milk yogurt in three varieties: Berry Patch, Summer Strawberry and Very Vanilla.

Pure Leaf Iced Tea, a product of The Pepsi Lipton Tea Partnership, announced the launch of Pure Leaf Tea House Collection, a line of organic tea leaves brewed with fruits and herbs, for exciting aromas and layered flavors for pure refreshment.

All of Pizzey Ingredients’ flaxseed products are now available in certified organic offerings, including its PurFlax products. As with its conventional flaxseed, the company’s organic products undergo targeted heat treatment to provide a consistent microbial reduction while protecting flaxseed’s natural stability, nutrition and function. All of Pizzey Ingredients’ organic and conventional products are gluten-free, non-GMO and pesticide-free.

Snack company Deep River Snacks announced a new addition to its line: Honchos organic tortilla chips, made with non-GMO, gluten free and 90 to 100 percent certified organic ingredients.

Taiyo’s branded ingredient Sunfiber was just given two health claims in Canada for treating IBS and for improving childhood constipation. The company is pursuing similar qualified health claims for IBS in both the U.S. and Europe.

A new line of organic ancient grain frozen pizzas from Better For You Foods is coming to retail freezers. Featuring a hearty crust made with three organic sprouted grains, these frozen pizzas come in two varieties—Organic Ancient Grains Cheese and Organic Ancient Grains Pepperoni. Both are topped with certified organic mozzarella, and the pepperoni pizza is made with certified organic beef pepperoni.
