Nutrition Business Journal honors Al Powers of NOW Foods with Lifetime Achievement Award


Al Powers, president of NOW Foods, was awarded Nutrition Business Journal's (NBJ) 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award at the 14th annual NBJ Summit in Dana Point, Calif. on July 21.

"Al is a major asset to our industry," says Tom Aarts, co-founder of NBJ Summit. "His inspirational leadership moves us all to perform at a higher level."

Powers was selected by NBJ's Editorial Advisory Board for his commitment to the improvement of the nutrition industry for the past 37 years and his contributions to the worldwide success of NOW Foods that elevated the brand to the No. 1 position in the natural products channel.
