NSF International appointed Larisa Pavlick as sales manager. She will be responsible for business development for NSF?s dietary supplements certification program and Good Manufacturing Practices registration program.

Arkopharma/Health From The Sun, a manufacturer and marketer of dietary supplements and natural remedies, appointed Hugues Mas as marketing director for its North American operations.

Frutarom USA, a multinational flavor and ingredient producer, appointed Ariel Calmanovici as chief financial officer.

Irving, Texas-based biopharmaceutical and consumer products company Carrington Laboratories Inc. appointed David Erinakes vice president of sales and marketing.

The winners of this year?s Order Awards Program at Natural Products Expo West 2005 were Ruth Ann Clayton of Nature?s Way Health in Mountain Home, Ark., and Chris Wentz of Nature?s Realm in Show Low, Ariz., who tied for the most orders placed with vendors by an independent retailer. Both wrote 28 orders during the March trade show. Clayton had a total of $28,000 in orders and Wentz had $27,000. Jeff Becker of NaturWay Natural Foods in Lakewood, Calif., won for largest volume and quantity of orders placed with vendors by a chain store retailer. Becker had 16 orders totaling $87,000.
