That’s according to the head of the agency’s Office of Dietary Supplement Programs, who clarified that the new list of 27 ingredients is not a collection of ingredients to avoid, rather a list of ingredients the agency has acted on or communicated about. International Probiotics Association Blasts Washington Post – article

The article, “Probiotic supplements may do the opposite of boosting your gut health,” used what “appeared to be ‘social media’ instead of scientific evidence,” said the IPA in its response.
