U.S. Congress Recognizes Vitamin Angels

Vitamin Angels, a 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to reducing child mortality worldwide with essential micronutrients, was presented with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from the office of Congresswoman Niki Tsongas of the Fifth Congressional District of Massachusetts, “in recognition of all the hard work and dedication your organization has displayed, in providing children all over the world with the necessary nutrients to live a long and meaningful life.”

Howard Schiffer, President and Founder of Vitamin Angels, accepted the Certificate during the Lowell Summer Music Series, held in LowellMassachusetts, saying, “Vitamin Angels is honored to receive this award in recognition of our work to help better the lives of children in the U.S. and around the world. Coming from Representative Tsongas, this means a great deal." An enthusiastic crowd greeted Vitamin Angels, an honorary guest for the event, with cheers and applause before enjoying a concert featuring the rock band the B-52’s.
