Vitamin Angels is a recipient of its eighth four-star rating, the highest value score available, from Charity Navigator (CN), the nation's premier charity evaluator. CN assesses the financial health, accountability and transparency of over 9,000 charities across America to provide donors with unbiased and transparent information to make informed charitable giving decisions. Vitamin Angels is among the top 4% of CN-evaluated charities that have received eight consecutive four-star ratings, demonstrating an exceptional level of performance and trustworthiness.

With more than 90% of expenses, cash and gift-in-kind going towards program services, Vitamin Angels has reached more than 250 million at-risk mothers and children with life-changing vitamins and minerals in the last five years alone.

With this rating, donors can be confident that their support has a direct impact on the health of millions of mothers and children worldwide through Vitamin Angels' programs. Currently, Vitamin Angels is leading the Global Prenatal Initiative, a global effort to reduce newborn mortality because of vitamin deficiency diseases.

Founded in 1994, Vitamin Angels is a global public health organization working toward ending malnutrition worldwide by distributing vitamins and minerals to at-risk mothers and children under 5 in the U.S. and around the world. In 2019, Vitamin Angels will provide vitamins and minerals to more than 70 million mothers and children in more than 70 countries, including domestically in the U.S.
