Diana Naturals Launches CranPure(TM) Cranberry Extract with 30% PAC’s

Raw materials supplier Diana Naturals, Antrain, France, has developed a new cranberry extract under the Phytonutriance® CranPure™ name. The product has 30% proanthocyanidins (PAC’s), significantly higher than competitive products on the market, which generally have 1-5% PAC’s. Because of the high PAC content, a dosage of 120 mg of powder (which is the European recommended daily dosage), yields 36 mg of PAC’s and can be achieved in a single capsule or tablet.

Additionally, a 120 mg dose of CranPure™ allows manufacturers to make a health claim in France; the French food agency AFSSA has authorized the following health claim at the 36 mg PAC level: “Help reduce the adhesion of certain E. coli bacteria to the urinary tract walls.”

Phytonutriance® CranPure™ is also a strong antioxidant with an ORAC value of 1500. This food grade product has good water solubility, a nice pink color and is designed for capsule, tablet or powder applications.
