Alkemist Labs adds staff to support continued growth
Paul Burns appointed director of sales; Robin Mullin brings leadership development.

To manage continued strong growth, Alkemist Labs has brought in two exceptional additions to the staff whose experience and talents will help that growth be sustainable and conscious.

Paul Burns, a well-known and respected industry veteran, has joined the company as director of sales. Robin Mullin, director of talent, learning and culture, will manage organizational and talent development, conscious management and culture.

With more than 10 years in technical-scientific laboratory service sales, Paul was most recently national sales manager at Eurofins Scientific. He earned a BA with an emphasis in analytical chemistry from the University of Denver in 1993.

Robin’s undergraduate degree in business administration from Indiana University followed by her M.A. degree in organizational leadership from Chapman University led to senior management positions at both business and non-profit organizations. In her last position as executive director at Five Mountains Hawaii, she worked closely with businesses, nonprofits and schools creating partnerships to offer health-promoting and leadership programs to teens and adults.

“Paul will bring consistency to our growth with his many relationships and understanding of the crucial role top-notch testing plays in our industry,” said Elan Sudberg, CEO of Alkemist Labs. “From developing talent to making sure concerns are heard and addressed, Robin will bring a conscious approach to our growth. As companies grow, particularly family owned and run companies, placing focus on organizational development and the culture inside the company becomes an important part of the plan.”
