NUCE will include manufacturers of ingredients, raw materials and services for the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, functional food and drink, and personal care industries in the Mediterranean market. The Epax team will exhibit at Stand E 09 in Hall 4.

Dr. Morten Bryhn, MD, PhD, scientific advisor to Epax, is scheduled to present during NUCE on September 25, 2013. The title of Dr. Bryhn’s workshop is Inflammation—A Three Step Process Mediated by PUFAs. During his presentation, Dr. Bryhn will address how polyunsaturated fatty acids affect the pro-inflammatory biomarkers often associated with ongoing inflammation. Dr. Bryhn has a background in cardiology and internal medicine. He has published numerous scientific articles and has lectured extensively on the therapeutic use of omega-3 fatty acids.
