Holly E. Johnson, Ph.D, has joined the staff of Alkemist Labs as senior analytical chemist, leading project teams in analytical testing and R&D as well as performing specialized research.

Dr. Johnson earned her Ph.D. in pharmacognosy at the College of Pharmacy, University of Illinois, Chicago, under renowned pharmacognosist and researcher Dr. Norman Farnsworth. Additional education includes a B.S. in environmental biology, and a B.S. in botany, Department of Biological Sciences, Humboldt State University, Arcata, Calif.  

“Dr. Johnson’s training under Dr. Norm Farnsworth and subsequent field work with botanicals, coupled with her innate appreciation for botanicals and expertise in analytical applications and instrumentation are complementary to our specialized areas of expertise,” said Elan Sudberg, CEO of Alkemist Labs. “We’re pleased to have her on the team.”
