Abhishek K. Gurnani has been promoted to partner at Amin Talati, a leading FDA, FTC, patent, trademark, licensing and litigation firm located in downtown Chicago. The promotion is effective immediately.

Gurnani joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2009, after previously serving as an intern for over a year. “Gurnani  has consistently been a solid contributor and a great asset to our FDA practice group, said Ashish Talati, chair of the food and drug practice at Amin Talati. “We’re delighted to include Gurnani as a partner in our firm.”

Gurnani will continue to focus his practice on legal and regulatory matters concerning the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), United States Customs, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and other federal and state regulatory agencies.  He primarily counsels food, drug, dietary supplement, medical device and cosmetic companies on regulatory, transactional and litigation services.  Gurnani earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and also holds a B.S. in biomedical engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
