Crusading for a Healthy America
Brenda Watson, C.N.C., founder of ReNew Life Formulas, stated from her Clearwater, Fla., headquarters, “I am so excited that my two health specials will be airing during Public Television’s most important pledge drive of the year! It will provide me the fantastic opportunity to reach millions of viewers and educate them on the importance of digestive health, and the truths about chronic disease and heart health.”

For the past 20 years, Watson has committed herself to uncovering the core of optimum health with her in-depth experience in digestive care, digestive disease and its many health repercussions. She is a New York Times best-selling author—her books, health supplements, Public Television specials and clinics have reached millions across America, giving them the tools to transform their health through a powerfully simple and integrated approach.

Two important health specials
“Heart of Perfect Health: has received tremendous viewer response as it exposes the truths about silent inflammation and America’s number-one killer—heart disease. “We don’t think of the gut when we think of heart disease,” says Watson, “though these two areas of the body are indeed linked. Something you need to be aware of that is seldom talked about in medical circles is silent inflammation, which can lead to chronic disease. But the good news is you have the power to reverse it. Silent inflammation is so pervasive, and evasive, that most people have no idea it is happening to them. I especially encourage those with heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and high blood sugar to watch.”

“The Road to Perfect Health” has proved to be one of the most successful Public Television health specials ever. “Follow me on this fascinating journey that begins in the gut, where more than 80 percent of the body’s natural defenses are found,” Watson says. Join her as she reveals an in-depth look at how chronic diseases start with an unhealthy digestive system and the natural solutions, including probiotics, that can support good health. “The Road to Perfect Health” continues to be a hit with viewers, and has had more than 90 percent household coverage.

Combined airings of these popular Public Television specials total more than 11,000. To date, Watson has raised more than $6.7 million for Public Television with these two specials alone, and over $12.6 million in total.
