HORN, one of North America’s premier distributors of specialty ingredients and raw materials, announced that Erika Harvey has joined the company as account manager for HORN Nutraceuticals, the industry source for science-based innovations and best-in-class ingredients.™ Harvey brings to HORN 12 years of industry expertise to provide added sales support for HORN Nutraceuticals’ California territories.

Prior to joining HORN, Harvey was a regional sales manager for a supplier of nutraceutical raw materials. Managing more than 150 active accounts in the western U.S., Harvey became the top sales performer at her former post in 2013 with a 16 percent sales growth, followed by another year in increased sales in 2014. While Harvey’s sales performance consistently progresses year over year, her technical expertise includes a thorough understanding of a product’s lifecycle from raw materials to production to research and development. She is also a savvy analyst of market trends, equipping her in presenting new concepts to customers and bringing ideas to life through new consumer product launches.

Harvey is an alumna of University of California, Santa Barbara and has been an active member of the industry through organizations such as Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and Southern California Institute of Food Technologists (SCiftS).
