PLT Health Solutions appoints 2 senior executives
Seth Flowerman and Devin Stagg bring broad-ranging corporate experience to empower PLT as an innovative developer of comprehensive solutions for consumer products companies.

PLT Health Solutions Inc. announced the appointment of Seth Flowerman as executive vice president and Devin Stagg as vice president of strategy and business development for the company. The appointments reflect the role that each has played in the growth of the company as a science-based, market-focused supplier of ingredient solutions to the consumer products industry. The appointments are consistent with the organizations initiatives to build its ingredient portfolio and offer a more comprehensive range of product development and ingredient marketing services.

Mr. Flowerman joined PLT in 2010 after his start-up, Career Explorations LLC, was acquired. In his new role, he will run PLT’s corporate leadership team, oversee corporate strategic initiatives and manage strategic alliances.  Prior to joining PLT Health Solutions in 2011, Mr. Stagg held positions in strategy and business development in several start-up companies and as a financial analyst at Citigroup. In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and implementing corporate strategy across a broad range of initiatives.

According to Paul Flowerman, president and CEO at PLT Health Solutions, the appointment of Flowerman and Stagg to these roles both recognizes their success in previous assignments and sets the stage for orderly expansion of the company as it continues on its growth trajectory.

“Over the past five years, Seth Flowerman has brought his distinctive and informed business vision to PLT, working closely with colleagues and partners to build on our strengths and remedy our weaknesses,” he said. “He has positively impacted policies and processes throughout the company and has led the development of several of our most successful branded ingredient efforts. Devin Stagg has made major contributions to strengthening our internal and external business platforms and has helped develop our growth strategies while driving business performance and identifying innovative business opportunities for PLT. It is this type of leadership that will allow PLT to increase the rate and quality of our new ingredient introductions and present them as comprehensive solutions that help our customers grow their brands.”

Mr. Flowerman holds an MBA in strategic operations and a BSc in applied economics and management from Cornell University. Immediately prior to joining PLT Health Solutions, Mr. Flowerman was the president and founder of Career Explorations LLC—a staffing firm he formed in 2003. That company was acquired by Dream Careers Inc. in 2010. He was named as one of BusinessWeek’s 25 Under 25 Entrepreneurs in 2008.

In previous postings, Mr. Stagg was vice president at Career Explorations LLC, where he helped launch a new division and worked on initiatives that resulted in a more than 150 percent increase in revenue within a 12 month period, contributing to the acquisition of the company by Dream Careers Inc.  He was then hired as senior business development officer at Dream Careers, Inc. where he served as primary advisor to the company’s CEO for strategic planning and worked on joint venture development, sales management and business processes. Earlier in his career, Mr. Stagg was an analyst in equity capital markets for Citigroup Global Capital Markets. He is a graduate of the College of Arts & Sciences at Cornell University where he earned a BA in economics.
