Wagor joins Wixon to lead supply chain operations

Wixon, a manufacturer of seasonings, flavors and technologies for the food and beverage industry, has named Mark Wagor as director of supply chain operations.

Wagor’s responsibilities include managing an end-to-end supply chain within the company, integrating supply and demand logistics across Wixon’s customer base. He will provide oversight of all supply chain functions, including purchasing/procurement, inventory control, production scheduling, customer service, and logistics management. All functions are expected to transition to an enhanced supply chain structure by the third quarter of 2015.

Wagor has more than 30 years experience at all levels of supply chain operations, having previously served in leadership roles at Kerry Ingredients & Flavours–Americas in Beloit, Wis.; Unilever Food Solutions in greater Milwaukee; The Torbitt and Castleman Co. in Sheboygan, Wis.; Manitowoc Foodservice in Wis.; and more.

“The addition of Mark’s expertise has been instrumental in guiding departments through the improvement and execution of our supply chain model,” emphasizes Ed Becerra, Wixon’s vice president of operations. “This enhancement, under Mark’s leadership, will help drive efficiencies and ensure that supply chain operations and end-to-end processes are the first and last points for customer satisfaction.”

A resident of West Bend, Wagor enjoys spending time with his family, participating in water sports, and fishing.
