The good ol' sneaker
Let's start with the obvious: You can never go wrong with a comfortable pair of sneakers on the show floor. Need to run to a conference? Forgot something at the hotel? With a solid pair of sneakers (fun colors a plus!), you can do all that and more. Sneakers by Allbirds, Nike and Outdoor Voices are particularly coveted.
Get your clog on with a pair of slightly heeled slip-ons (we're partial to Danskos and Earth Shoes). This style is particularly effective for those who need more arch support than your average sneaker or flat shoe offers.
Go barefoot (sort of)
Vivobarefoot Shoes are an absolute must for one team member—while the style she is wearing in this photo was discontinued a while back, all of their shoes feature flexible soles, breathable material and are incredibly packable.
Wear this style of shoe while you do literally the polar opposite of loafing! There are so many affordable and fun options on the market—this particular pair was from Target. Why not grab a bunch of different pairs to match each outfit?
One word: Merrell
Podiatrists love 'em for a reason. This brand aims to serve the most rugged of outdoorsmen with equal measures of durability and form-fitting comfort. Just be sure to break them in first!
Be combat boot-eriffic
Add some punk flair to your outfit while keeping things snug with a pair of worn-in combat boots. The pair in the photo is from Steve Madden and is double layered with a thick pair of socks for maximum blister prevention (very smart). For what it's worth, this combo sees one team member through a cool 96 miles of trade show trekking.
Who says dress shoes have to be uncomfortable? Shout out to Clarks for offering seriously stylish options for those who never, ever forsake style.
These boots are made for walkin' (the show floor)
Cowboy, Timberlands, Frye–the choice is up to you. A simple pair of leather boots can be easily coordinated with many outfits, giving you more room in your suitcase for swag.
