It’s no secret that sustainability matters to consumers, and that they’re often willing to pay more for products they see as being beneficial to the environment, whether that means organic food or clean label beverages. But a new report from NPD Group says it’s not just the product, but also the product packaging that matters, with one in 10 U.S. adults even switching to a different food or beverage brand in pursuit of earth-friendly packaging.

Here are just a few brands making the leap to compostable, upcycled and other innovative packaging to appeal to this ever-growing group.
