Fenchem strengthens betaine push in US market

Fenchem strengthens betaine push in US market
Natural betaine represents a key product in Fenchem’s strategy to provide innovative, healthy nutrition solutions to the animal feed industry.

Fenchem will focus on marketing and promoting betaine in the U.S. Betaine is the trimethyl derivative of the amino acid glycine. As a by-product of sugar beet processing, betaine is commercially available as a feed additive. Due to both its methyl donor and its amino acid function, betaine is involved in protein and energy metabolism. In animal nutrition, betaine is widely discussed as a “carcass modifier” for its lipotropic and growth-promoting effects.

Betaine from Fenchem is natural. Unlike synthetic betaine, natural betaine acts as an osmolyte, improving intestinal and heart health benefits in animals. It has been demonstrated that natural betaine has superior value compared to synthetic alternatives.

Natural betaine represents a key product in support of Fenchem’s strategy to provide innovative, healthy nutrition solutions to the animal feed industry. We mainly provide Betaine Anhydrous 96%, Betaine Anhydrous 98%, Betaine Hydrochloride 95% and Betaine Hydrochloride 97%.
