SoLo GI Nutrition and Vitamin Relief USA Bring Bounty to New York’s Needy

81,000 SoLo Gi Nutrition Bars Distributed Throughout the Five Burroughs

Ojai, CA – Pallets and pallets of donated SoLo Gi™ Nutrition Bars arrived at one of Vitamin Relief USA’s distribution sites, The River Fund in Richmond, New York. The bars were to provide high quality nutrition to New York’s homeless families, street teens, and rehabilitated drug and alcohol users. Word spread like wild fire throughout agencies from Brooklyn to the Bronx that the SoLo bars were highly nutritious and better still - tasty. When the bars reached their destinations, they were a hit. The holidays had arrived early for New York’s most needy citizens.

“I want to eat these for breakfast, lunch, dinner and all night too!” proclaimed a homeless child. A mother of four, Rosario gratefully shared, “SoLo Bars, thank you for caring about us.”

“Providing protein sources that are both very nutritious and ready to eat is a great challenge for agencies that provide nutrition for the homeless and the needy. This extraordinary donation from SoLo GI Nutrition is a tremendous gift of high quality nutrients to support the health and well-being of those who need it most,” said Michael Morton, Executive Director of Vitamin Relief USA.

Saul Katz, President and CEO of SoLo GI Nutrition, shared his enthusiasm; “We are delighted to partner with Vitamin Relief and the River Fund to help so many in need during the holiday season. It is gratifying to know that our donation is providing an excellent balance of concentrated nutrients to those who need it most. SoLo Gi™ Bars are also low glycemic, helping to stave off hunger and provide sustained energy to help get through prolonged periods without food.”
