Successful Product Submissions: How to Get a Natural Product Number

dicentra Inc.™ will host a live web seminar on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 2 p.m. Eastern Time on how to successfully submit your natural health product license application to Health Canada. Registration for this web seminar and others can be done online at http://www.eplyevents.com/dicentra.

To date the Natural Health Products Directorate (NHPD) has received 30,000 product license applications. As of September of 2008, over 7,500 of these applications (25%) have been refused. Jon-Paul Powers (about the speaker), Ph.D., a former assessment officer of the NHPD, has prepared and will deliver this course to examine why so many applications are being refused. Topics covered include an update on the status of submissions at the NHPD, an overview of the product submission review process that takes place at the NHPD, a list and discussion of reasons why products are being refused, and what can be done to improve the likelihood that your product will be approved, especially for non-traditional applications.

Anyone involved in the submissions of product license applications should attend this course to fully understand the review process at the Natural Health Products Directorate and to acquire the ability to submit a complete and successful application.

The number of registrations for this course is being limited so please sign up soon.
