Third-party certifications begin to define the market for a cleaner sports nutrition

At press time, the International Olympic Committee was still tallying up how many Russian athletes would be barred from Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro next month. This comes on the heels of a doping scandal in Russia's track and field program, a scandal that now stretches across 20 Olympic sports and implicates several government agencies in an orchestrated program of swapping dirty urine samples for clean ones. Gold medal count? Nyet.
