Prop up your feet, grab a snack and get cozy—on August 26, Spark Change participants are in for an interactive day filled with inspiration and connection.

Sure, New Hope Network's digital Spark Change events will be packed with useful information from natural products industry leaders for everyone who was planning on heading to Natural Products Expo East this year. But there are also plenty of opportunities to make spontaneous connections and just kick back and enjoy yourself. Below are three can't-miss activities. View the full Spark Change Kickoff Event agenda here.

1. Discovery-based networking with the Spark Change community.

One of the best parts about in-person Natural Products Expo trade shows is how easy it is to have random encounters with people who end up supercharging your business, giving you new ideas and becoming lifelong friends. Spark Change replicates this magical experience to the fullest degree possible with an afternoon of virtual discovery-based networking, prefaced by a 10-minute best practices overview from a networking pro. Networking breakout groups will be moderated by industry experts; all you need to bring is an open mind, an open heart and enthusiasm to meet new people, brands and stories that are reshaping the natural products landscape.

2. A sugar-free cooking demo.

Companies like Zevia that ditch sugar in favor of healthier alternatives are trending among consumers, which is why the brand's sugar-free cooking demo from 2:40-2:55 p.m. EDT is a must for Spark Change attendees. Registered dietitian and nutritionist Kristina Cooke will lead the demo; she will also be available for 10-minute nutrition consultations at Zevia's Product Discovery Zone. Bonus: You'll also get a peek inside some of our favorite Spark Change attendees' pantries.

3. A live concert.

A perpetual highlight of Natural Products Expo trade shows is the stellar concerts hosted over the years. This time around, participants have the luxury of jamming out to the live music wearing whatever they want in the comfort of their own homes. Who's playing, you ask? American psychedelic soul band Black Pumas! The group notably received its first Grammy nomination this year for Best New Artist and recently performed on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."
