FutureCeuticals announced the successful certification and NGP Verification of elevATP® by the Non-GMO Project. The Non-GMO Project’s Product Verification Program is a process-based and product-based program designed to confirm that products or ingredients are not genetically modified according to the rigorous Non-GMO Project Standard. The core requirements are traceability, segregation, and testing of ingredients at critical control points.
“The Non-GMO Project verification of our elevATP® ingredient is our third product this year that has been certified free of GMO, joining Organic VitaVeggie™ and Coffeeberry® coffee fruit products,” said Kim Rivard, FutureCeuticals’ director of quality control. “FutureCeuticals has always grown or sourced Non-GMO materials, and this added verification helps demonstrate our willingness to provide our clients with the highest level of traceability in the supply chain,” she added.
FutureCeuticals’ elevATP is a proprietary combination of ancient peat and apple extract that has been clinically shown to support healthy cellular energy and healthy energy production. “Non-GMO Project Certification is an important criteria for products in the healthy energy space,” said John M. Hunter, executive vice president of FutureCeuticals. "Consumers are demanding natural, safe supplementation, and achieving the Non-GMO Certification for a mitochondrial energy ingredient like elevATP fulfills that demand. Non-GMO has always been a fundamental part of the FutureCeuticals product platform. Because of this obvious alignment, FutureCeuticals will continue to give the Non-GMO Project its full support.”
