6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 5, Grand Plaza Main Stage
One of the biggest reggae bands in Southern California, The Expanders are not to be missed. They play in the tradition of classic Jamaican reggae and will make you think you’re on a warm Caribbean beach. If it’s been awhile since you’ve heard some steel drums, make sure you get a spot in the front row for these guys.

Nahko and Medicine for the People
6-8 p.m. Friday, March 6, Grand Plaza Main Stage
Nahko, an Oregon native with Apache, Puerto Rican and Filipino blood, leads this soul-filled band on its musical journey around the world. Though the band doesn’t have much of a reggae sound, it has been compared to Bob Marley and definitely fills the stage—and audience—with that level of energy. Come jam with Nahko on the Grand Plaza as you unwind from your busy Friday. If you have energy to burn, Nahko will have you dancing in no time; and if you’re tired, it’s the kind of music you can also sit back and relax to as you chat with newfound friends and longtime colleagues.
