Nutragenesis Introduces First Line Of High-ORAC Mushroom Whole Food Powders

New Line to be unveiled at Supply Side West

Brattleboro, VT. NutraGenesis is pleased to announce the introduction of a new patent-pending family of certified organic, Kosher, high-ORAC mushroom based super foods called MycoFusions™. MycoFusions™ are the result of a proprietary fermentation process that fuses the high fiber and high protein components of mushrooms that are grown on the anthocyanin-rich substrates of whole grain purple, black or blue corn. The six different mushrooms: Maitake, Cordyceps, Reishi, Oyster, Shiitake, and Coriolus are renowned for enhancing energy and stamina, as well as heart health, anti-aging, skin health and immunity support. Proprietary MycoFusions™ are the first and only bulk branded mushroom ingredients that are multi-nutritional super foods, bursting with high-ORAC antioxidants as well as high protein, and high dietary fiber.

“We are very excited about the possibilities for the MycoFusions™ line given the initial response of the marketplace which has been very positive and very strong,” said Suzanne McNeary, president of NutraGenesis. “Through our strategic alliance with Functional Fungi, the producers of MycoFusions™ we are able to provide our customers with market ready, proprietary nutraceutical ingredient solutions which address many of the key health concerns of consumers.”

NutraGenesis will be showing granola bar concepts formulated with the MycoFusions™ powders at Supply Side West 2006 booth # 4087.
