As a leader in Canada's Natural Product Number (NPN) count, Organika Health Products is proud to announce they have reached a total of 500 NPN-Approved products. The 500th product is not yet on the market, but promises to make a splash in the natural supplement industry.

According to Health Canada's Licensed Natural Health Products Search (as of May 21, 2013) Natural Factors has 378 NPN Approved products, Jamieson has 363 NPN Approved products, SISU has 194 NPN Approved products, and Genuine Health has 80 Approved NPN products. (Numbers do not include pending products)

What is an NPN number? Due to the growing popularity of natural health products, Health Canada reformatted health product evaluation in 2004. Before 2004, health products were categorized as either a food or a drug. Today, once Health Canada assesses a product and has decided it is safe, it issues a product license and an eight-digit Natural Product Number.
