BENEO plant gains International Food Standard certification

BENEO has announced that its plant in Pemuco, Chile, has been awarded its first International Food Standard (IFS) certification.

BENEO has announced that its plant in Pemuco, Chile, has been awarded its first International Food Standard (IFS) certification, with an impressive score of 99.36%.

The IFS certification, recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative, supports BENEO's goal to become the preferred partner of choice for functional ingredients customers.

BENEO's plants in Belgium, Germany and Chile are each audited on a yearly basis; this year, all received their highest scores to date. BENEO plants in Oreye and Offstein also received impressively high scores, with Oreye rated at 97% and Offstein at 99.89%.
