Berg Recruiting Developing Technical Consultants Division

(Seattle, WA) March 1, 2006 – Berg Recruiting, a leading health industry executive recruitment firm, has announced development of a Technical Consultants Division (TCD) to help its clients assess their Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliance levels. According to Heather Berg, president of Berg Recruiting, the option to use the firm’s consultants will be available after on-site consultation. This new service is scheduled to begin March 15.

According to Berg, the Technical Consultants Division will initially include several experienced consultant members with years of GMP experience. The TCD program will consist of two parts. The firm’s clients may choose one or both parts.

Part One – GMP Assessment: Assess the level of GMP compliance by the company; provide a detailed review list approved by an industry Ph.D. The program includes a two-day site visit and a step-by-step report outlining a workable strategy to become GMP compliant.

Part Two – Implementation: execution of a customized program based on a client's individual needs to bring meet GMP compliance.

Berg Recruiting, who has positioned several high ranking industry executives in the area of corporate management and research and development, also announced it has placed research scientist Daniel Fabricant, Ph.D., as vice president of scientific affairs with the National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA) in its Washington, D.C. headquarters office. Fabricant, an expert in dietary supplements for women’s health, sports nutrition, and quality analysis of botanical products, joins the NNFA with more than a decade of research and practical experience with natural products. He was previously with where he served as assistant director of research overseeing efforts to evaluate and identify quality dietary supplements and coordinating independent laboratory testing.
