BI Nutraceuticals' Vice President of Global Quality and Compliance, Rupa Das, will present information on vendor qualification challenges for suppliers and manufacturers during the American Herbal Products Association's (AHPA) teleseminar, "Meeting Specifications: Identity Testing and Vendor Qualifications", part of AHPA's cGMP Compliance Series, on Thursday, June 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. Das will provide practical information from a supply standpoint on vendor qualification, including common manufacturer mistakes, OOS materials and documentation issues. Additional industry experts will discuss legal, scientific and quality aspects of compliance.

Das has more than 17 years of quality and regulatory compliance management experience in the dietary supplement and personal care product industries. She is a certified GMP auditor and is involved at different levels with leading industry organizations. Prior to her work in the industry, she was a chemistry lecturer at several California State Universities.
