Botanical Laboratories, Inc. Appoints New Director of Marketing

FERNDALE, WA, -- Botanical Laboratories, Inc. (BLI), a leading U.S. manufacturer of oral and topical homeopathic, herbal and nutritional products, has named Kevin Cobb as director of marketing.

“Kevin’s previous management experience will be a great asset as we continue to reach and expand our marketing potential,” stated Jim Coyne, president and CEO of Botanical Laboratories, Inc. “He brings with him significant experience in the health food industry, as well as sales and marketing experience with products sold in mainstream channels. His expertise will be invaluable as we pursue both the natural and mainstream markets.”

Cobb will oversee the marketing department and be responsible for strategic business planning, consumer and trade promotions, managing advertising and public relations efforts and new product planning.

Cobb joins BLI after working with Smucker Quality Beverages for five years as a group marketing manager. While there, he worked with brands such as R.W. Knudsen Family, After the Fall, Santa Cruz Organic and Natural Brew. He has also worked for Best Foods (southern division), as the division merchandising manager. Cobb earned a bachelor’s degree at California State University and an executive master’s of business administration from Golden Gate University in Sacramento, California.
