Cargill Debuts New Joint Health Beverage Prototype at IFT 2004 Annual Meeting & Food Expo®

MINNEAPOLIS - Cargill Health & Food Technologies (H&FT) will showcase an innovative functional beverage prototype designed to appeal to mainstream health-conscious consumers who are concerned about joint health at the Institute of Food Technologists' 2004 Annual Meeting & Food Expo®, set for July 13-16 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, booth # 1543.

JointWise™ joint health beverage is made with OptaFlex™ natural chondroitin. Joint pain is the No.1 chronic health condition in the United States, and chondroitin has been identified as a solution to help promote healthy joints. Cargill's OptaFlex™ natural chondroitin has been self-affirmed GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) through an independent panel of scientists and is manufactured using a unique, water-based process that enables great tasting joint healthy consumer products.
