PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla., July 10, 2007 – Enzymedica, Inc., a manufacturer of indication-specific enzyme-based finished products, was recently certified by the NSF Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) program after a thorough audit analyzing and evaluating the company's production facilities, employees and distribution methods.
Following a multi-tiered inspection that covers product quality from the manufacturing facility to the store shelf, NSF's guidelines also include verification of third-party testing, which assures that products meet label claim. The result is a certification that reflects an intensive set of guidelines, with quality-assurance audits occuring every six months after certification.
"We have always been confident and proactive to ensure our products are of exceptional quality, and the NSF GMP certification informs retailers and consumers that we adhere to, and exceed, industry regulations," said Tom Bohager, president, Enzymedica. "With our initial NSF inspection complete, Enzymedica welcomes the opportunity to remain a GMP-certified company."
