Enzymes, Inc. – a leader in enzyme-based nutritional supplementation – welcomes Dan Kaur Weamer to the Technical Services department.
Weamer became interested in diet and nutritional impact on behavioral and learning problems while pursuing her Master of Arts degree in Behavioral Psychology at the University of Kansas. This inspired her further study of nutrition at the University of Bridgeport, where she received a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition.
Weamer taught for five years at Park College (now Park University) where she designed and presented courses in Basic Nutrition, Nutrition’s effect on Learning and Behavioral Problems, and Clinical Nutrition – the impact of environmental toxins on health and the role of nutrition in the prevention and treatment of environmental disorders.
Previously, Weamer was involved in a Kansas State University National Science Foundation grant to improve training techniques for pre-service and in-service instructors in the areas of Science, Mathematics, and Technology. While at K-State, she studied and designed coursework in Curriculum and Instruction, Nutrition, and Enviornmental Education.
“I’ve been an enzyme enthusiast for many years,” said Weamer, “ and these products are among the most effective enzyme-supplements available. I’m glad to be a part of the Enzymes, Inc. technical and educational team.”
