LOS ANGELES, Feb 14, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Herbalife Ltd. (HLF) announces the appointment of Ricardo Hollander as country director of Herbalife Venezuela and Colombia.
In this capacity, Hollander will be responsible for all business operations in Venezuela and Colombia reporting to Edi Hienrich, vice president, South America.
Hollander has over 12 years experience managing consumer product brands and businesses in the Latin American markets, with an extensive background in sales, marketing, strategic planning, P&L and manufacturing operations. His extensive experience in sales, marketing, finance and supply, and trade marketing, has allowed him to successfully support strategic brands and improve general positioning of products in the Venezuelan marketplace and across the Latin American region.
Prior to joining Herbalife, Hollander worked at Reckitt Benckiser Venezuela, where he most recently served as country manager and commercial director, responsible for gross/net income, market share, working capital and overall team management for the country. During his tenure, he successfully increased revenue, market share and net income allowing the company to improve its business results for the Venezuelan subsidiary.
Previously, Hollander spent 10 years at Procter and Gamble in various capacities that ranged from regional customer marketing organization manager, regional customer manager South America to key account manager.
Hollander holds a master's degree in Business Administration from John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidad Metropolitana, Caracas. He is fluent in English, Spanish and German.
