Kemin welcomes new sales manager in Italy

Ilaria Scaglia joins Kemin as a technical sales manager for the Food Technologies division in Italy to manage customer relationship and identify new business opportunities.

Ilaria Scaglia joins Kemin as a technical sales manager for the Food Technologies division in Italy. In her role, she is responsible for managing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. 

“We are putting additional focus on Italy because we believe Italian consumers are very concerned about what they are putting into their bodies. There is a clear trend towards clean labels and food safety awareness, which lends itself nicely to our natural products,” says Frank D’Hondt, business director for Kemin Food Technologies in Europe.

Kemin will concentrate on marketing its natural flavorings with antioxidant activity to Italy’s large deli market. FORTIUM® R, a natural rosemary flavoring and NaturFORT™ RGT, a combination of rosemary and green tea flavoring, have shown to delay oxidation in meat working to maintain freshness and improve overall product quality.
