Natural Health Products Directorate Proposed Regulations - Comment period ends on March 23, 2002

The proposed regulations for natural health products were published in Canada Gazette Part I on December 22, 2001. The formal 90 day comment period ends on March 23, 2002.

The Natural Health Products Directorate (NHPD) would like to thank the many individuals and groups who have contributed their input during Phase I and Phase II of our consultations during the development of an appropriate regulatory framework for natural health products. The resultant product is our proposed regulations that have now been pre-published in the Canada Gazette, Part I on December 22, 2001. This is, therefore, the official start of a formal comment period for ninety (90) days. We would appreciate receiving any comments by March 23, 2002.
