DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 9, 2003--Natural Health Trends Corp. (OTCBB:NHLC) announced today that it has hired Joe Wood as President of its Lexxus Korea subsidiary.
Before coming to Lexxus, Joe managed the Asia Pacific Customer Support operations for eBay Inc., where he was responsible for the building and managing the online customer support operations in South Korea, Taiwan and China.
Prior to working at eBay, Joe was employed with NuSkin Inc., where he helped establish NuSkin Korea, LTD. As Vice-President of Distributor Services for NuSkin Korea, he helped grow the company from a startup to $130 million (USD) in sales in its first year.
Joe was also a visiting professor at Brigham Young University, where he taught courses on Classical Korean Literature, Literature in Translation and several other subjects.
In addition to his professional successes, Joe has been a lecturer at Seoul National University Executive MBA program and was an interpreter for the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, Korea. Joe was also a well-known columnist for the Sports Seoul newspaper in Korea. Joe was the first American to graduate from the Korean Language and Literature Department at Seoul National University.
