NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., January 5, 2004—Natural products retailers from across the country will be able to peruse more than 450 exhibitors showcasing industry’s best products at the National Nutritional Foods Association’s 68th annual trade show and convention—NNFA 2005—July 15-17, in Las Vegas. The association’s event will again take place at the world-class Sands Expo and Convention Center and The Venetian Resort Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.
Participants can anticipate another exciting show, as the exhibit floor is already more than 75 percent sold. Attendees will see the hottest new products from innovative, top-quality exhibitors including dietary supplements, functional foods and beverages, health and beauty aids, sports nutrition, herbals, organics, homeopathics, pet products, and much more. As with past NNFA trade shows, natural product retailers are invited to walk the show floor free of charge.
NNFA 2005 resumes NNFA’s successful weekend show format that offers attendees a more concentrated, profitable, affordable, and convenient experience. Friday’s schedule will include the highly regarded educational conference with some of the industry’s most insightful and provocative speakers. Past conference seminars have focused on key topics such as consumer and product trends, business improvement, new discoveries in nutrition research, and legislative and regulatory developments. The trade show, which has come to be known for its relaxed and convivial atmosphere that encourages networking and relationship building, takes place Saturday and Sunday.
"The theme of this year’s show, ‘Creating Health Together,’ aptly describes what NNFA’s annual industry show has always been about,” said NNFA Convention Committee Chairman Gary Barrows of Bluebonnet Nutrition. “NNFA’s show is an annual opportunity for buyers and sellers of natural products to come together as a dedicated community aimed at creating a healthier America.”
In addition to exciting trade show exhibits, attendees can enjoy special events on the show floor such as the 11th Annual People’s Choice Awards blind taste-test competition and live food demonstrations. Back by overwhelming demand will be the scientific poster session, where researchers and attendees can discuss scientific findings one-on-one. Participants are also invited to attend other show events such as the popular President’s Reception and NNFA’s annual business meeting, breakfast, and awards ceremony.
