NRPL rolls out new ginger grades
Most recent additions to the company’s extensive list of extracts with ginger are standardized to greater than 20 percent and 30 percent gingerols, the active constituent of Zingiber officinale Roscoe.

Natural Remedies Pvt Ltd introduces recent additions to the company’s extensive list of standardized extracts with ginger; standardized to greater than 20% and 30% gingerols, the active constituent of Zingiber officinale Roscoe.

The oleoresin from rhizomes of ginger contains gingerols which are pungent in nature and are credited with many health benefits such as helping to maintain normal cholesterol levels and cardiovascular function.

Zingiber officinale Roscoe standardized to Gingerols >20%, a new grade, is water soluble/suspendable and available in powder form which can be added to food, soft drinks/beverages etc.

Our other new grade is standardized to > 30% gingerols which makes it three fold higher in strength and requires a minimal quantity in formulation. It is convenient to handle for further processing with a minimal handling loss. Typical commercially available powdered forms of gingerols are standardized in between 5 – 10 percentages.

"There are many properties of gingerols reported so far, to which our new grade (s) add novelty and guaranteed quality with science backup,’’ said Dr. Amit Agarwal,  R & D Director. “We anticipate that these new standardized extracts from ginger will add value to the development of nutraceuticals and supplement”.
