Nutrastar International Inc. NUIN -1.11% , a leading producer and supplier of premium branded Traditional Chinese Medicine ("TCM") consumer products, announced the signing of a major distribution agreement in Suzhou, Anhui Province, adding more than 400 points-of-sale for its functional health drinks.
Through the distribution agreement, Nutrastar's premium beverage product line will now be available in 29 supermarkets, including Park' N Shop, Hua Lian, Hua Xia, and Jia He, 15 entertainment establishments, 100 small—and medium-sized hotels and approximately 300 small convenience stores. All points of sale are located in Suzhou, a major city in northern part of Anhui province with a population of approximately six million in the extended metropolitan area. The city is a core city of the Huaihai economic cooperation zone which consists of 20 cities bordering between Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong and Henan provinces.
