Nutritional Laboratories Honored with Business Achievement Award by the Prestigious Nutrition Business Journal

MISSOULA, MONTANA -- Nutrition Business Journal (NBJ) bestowed contract manufacturer Nutritional Laboratories International (NLI) with a 2002 Business Achievement Award for "Growth in Mid-Sized Companies." To put the award in perspective, NBJ reported that Nutritional Laboratories was one of nearly one hundred firms nominated.

While 2002 won’t be remembered as the best year in the dietary supplement industry, for Nutritional Laboratories, it was a year marked by expanded services and clientele. After five years of double-digit growth, NLI recently moved into a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing and laboratory services facility in Missoula, Montana.

The new facility was designed to optimize the flow of materials and minimize handling, and meet drug-level current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) standards. Additional segregation and inspection points at the new facility mean increased data collection and analysis opportunities. Clients with high standards are drawn to NLI’s valuable quality assurance tools of which Statistical Process Control (SPC) is just one.

Nutritional Laboratories’ in-house laboratory services are yet another means of assuring quality. The new facility boasts a four-fold increase in laboratory space, which includes two separate analytical laboratories—one for pharmaceuticals and the other for natural and nutritional products. Both adhere to drug-level cGMPs.
